SEMAPHORE Sconce

Inspired by the mystical leaning works by painters such as Agnes Pelton and Hilma af Klint, Semaphore features a fluted surface, raw pigment or metalic leaf, and many layers of lacquer clear coat.

As designed, the colors chosen for the pieces are signaling the coming of Autumn, but the piece’s painted or applied leaf surface can be any colorway desired.

This is the third piece in Buoyant NYC’s collection of line-voltage fixtures that continue to inhabit the spirit and simple elegance of the Buoyant brand.
